Miley Cyrus slams French Montana dating rumors

Miley Cyrus has slammed reports she is dating rapper French Montana after the pals were spotted hugging in New York City over the weekend.
The “Wrecking Ball” hit maker, who was in town to perform for radio station Z100′s annual Jingle Ball concert on Friday, was photographed embracing Montana in a hotel lobby, prompting some bloggers to speculate about a new romance.
However Cyrus took to Twitter.com on Sunday to deny the claims, writing, “DON’T hug your friends goodbye unless you wanna be rumored ‘dating.’ I wanna think more of the world but people just keep proving their stupidity.”
The 21-year-old, who confirmed her split from fiancé Liam Hemsworth in September, collaborated with Montana on a track titled FU on her latest record, “Bangerz.”
